Death Valley suggestions

Postby jonnypar » Wed Mar 26, 2014 10:26 pm

My wife and I are planning a trip to Death Valley and I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on where is a good place to stay for a weekend?

I have been to Death Valley, but it was a while ago now. However, I did look up Mr Google's listings and found this one from searching "death valley lodging reviews".

This URL has comments that are worthwhile reading:

Enjoy your trip.

When I'm riding the valley I stay in a little town " Beatty NV " only a couple of motels 1 casino all have been clean, no frills but it is at the gate to the park and make a good spot for a base camp.

Motel at Panamint Springs and a nice restaurant, with great "Black & Blue" burgers.

We rode 860 miles in 38 hours. Explored Death Valley from one end to the other. Great time with good friends and some perfect weather.

Looking out from Dantes View 5800 feet high overlooking Badwater Basin which is 382 feet below sea level.
