This is a ride I'll be doing in June with a group from the Maxi-Scoots board. I'm undecided if I'll be taking my scooter or my Goldwing. I'm sure I'll be ready to do it again in July!

Mimic ,,i see your up there is gods country .. i had a place at Sandy Pond at one time[Pulaski] ,, my brother still does . Let me know what you decide ,Perhaps we can hook up somewhere and ride down together. I will be meeting with Phil Bowie in NC or On the br someplace .Then were heading all over the place and a little west . I will be in no hurry to get anywhere .Nice and ez and take it all in . Iam really not sure if my body will be willing to go along with this trip . But i have started to get myself in alot better shape and loosing 40 lbs . The farthest i have gone in the past is about 200 miles ,and that just about killed me .I have problems with my legs . P.a.D . But again ,i will be working my butt off to make ready for the trip . Plus a few practice runs before i go . Brent :geek:

I am not familiar with Max-Scoots but I would take the Goldwing. When you get into the Smokies you have a lot of altitude changes and your wing might take it better. My wife and I rode the BRP and Shenandoah Skyline Drive a few years ago and I rode most of it in 3rd gear pulling a MC trailer behind my GL1800. Their are some really good roads in that area.
