Trip to Pa.

Postby edgus347 » Fri Jun 26, 2015 5:34 pm

Hi. I'm thinking of taking a trip to Pa. later this summer and taking one of my GL1500 trikes with me. I'm getting kinda old and my joints don't work as good as they use to. I'm thinking of using a closed trailer to put the wing in and pull it with my truck. That way I have the wing to ride up there and my trunk if the weather get's bad for a day or two. I'm still working on the planning of the trip.

You might want to ride over to Fort Necessity, PA for a look at a remnant of the French and Indian War. At that point Shanksville and the memorial for Flight 93 is not much further.

Of course just up the road from Fort Necessity is Ohiophyle which is a fun place/park to visit and right up from there is one of Frank LLoyd Wrights most famous designed houses, Falling Waters. There is a fee to tour it.

And there are plenty of fun roads to ride all over southwest PA so I hope you take your trike and have a blast exploring the area.
