Birthday in Vegas

Post by crock4 » Tue May 10, 2016 6:56 am

My daughter, and son in law were going to Palm Springs Cal. For a company function. They decided to stop in Vegas for a few days on the way, and asked my wife and I if we would like to join them. Not being a gambler at all I initially declined, but when they said they would rent some bikes, and ride around out there I was looking up ticket prices. It just happened to be my wife's birthday, so she was excited also. They took care of all the arrangements on that end which, being on a very limited income, made it possible. All the available Goldwings were rented, so we ended up with two identical black 2016 harley ultra classic limited's. We did Hoover dam, Valley of Fire, and riding through the mountains site seeing. Very nice looking, and riding bike. Not ready to trade in my wing though. Harleys you have to ride, with the wing you just hold on, and enjoy the scenery. Sorry to be so long-winded, but we don't get out much, and have never been out west except to ship out from Oakland, California in 66. Beautiful country, lavish casino's, lots of fun. Bottom line wife had great birthday.

Passion keeps your blood flowing and your heart beating. Motorcycles are my passion !
