Post by Chickenlegs » Fri Dec 02, 2016 9:44 pm

yes I do have another motorcycle :o besides my Wing. Here's a video of some of the "ride's" my wife and I have taken this 2016 summer. I have another video coming soon of my Yellowstone trip riding my 97'a. I got a new hip in Oct. and have had lot's of time for video editing, hip exercises, nap's... some of you guy's have "been there done that". I have received nice comment's on my other vids. I thought I would post this. Hope you enjoy

I looked into Adventure Series bikes last year. I may look more seriously this year. Highway riding is great, but perhaps you have an idea. I went to an Adventure Camp last summer and it was very informative. Thanks for the video. Did you do this video before or after your hip replacement?
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Great video of some beautiful country!
Where did you have your camera mounted? It almost looks like it was on your shoulder because part of your helmet is visible and so steady the camera could be attached to it.
And what camera are you using? I have a Gopro attached to my helmet and every bump in the road transfers to my head, so the scenery bounces around quite a bit. Of course, I bought the GoPro model just before they came out with the Steady Shot feature.

Outstanding as usual. Thanks! Nice to be able to get off the beaten path. So much is missed riding the pavement.

What is this "Adventure Camp" that you went to? All my riding was done throughout our summer season, then got the new hip after that (end of Oct.) It's been 9 weeks since my surgery and I'm able to ride but its too cold and getting colder, high for this Sat. 17th will be 0 F. without wind. My bikes are winterized and stored till next summer.

I have the go pro 3+ (nothing special) mounted on the side of my helmet. I tried chin mounting but it was too low (too much of the gauges or tank bag). Tried top mounting but the lens caught a lot of bugs.

Another great video you've got here. Love the second song.
I had a 99SE in white that I had planned to keep for a long time but it came to a demise by cagger 4 years ago this month in California. I had 2 trips cross country with it plus lots of fun riding in the southwest. I put 55,000 of the 105,000 miles on it in the 3 years I had it.

I hope you are OK from the experience 4 years ago. Thank you for the nice comment about the video. YES I like the second song too. I like your trunk decal also. You were blessed to have a season of 3 years and 55,000 miles of fun with it.
