William, we were on all the same roads, I'm surprised we didn't come across one another. We were hard to miss, we stretched out over two miles at times!

Some pics from tonight:

What a great time we've had. Met a great bunch of guys and gals. The ride yesterday was fantastic. We are heading home today but first a few of us are taking a jaunt down to Portsmouth to visit the flood wall mural. Then its back to Toledo for Corkster and then on into Michigan for me. Hopefully we will make the gathering an annual affair. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Let me just say, I had a great time. I don't think I could have found a better group if I'd tried.

After Portsmouth, we headed up 73 to the Great Serpent Mound, from there we went through Hillsborough, then back to Chillicothe.
All-in-all, another great day.

Totaled up my miles for our runs: Saturday at 251 miles, and today's trip at 149. Not bad for an old-fart "newbie" who's not still not comfortable with his "wing"!

Some more pictures that I took today. Hoping another video that I took worked, it's processing right now.

First thing this morning, I went downstairs and wiped the fog off of my windshield. I then went and had breakfast, and by the time I came back out, this is how it looked...

That's a great camera - the arm holding it must have gotten a little sore by the end judging by the comment lol.

I liked the ability to basically look all around you...do you have information available on the camera?

Thanks again.

Great mural as well - that must be about a mile or so long.

Thanks

Jeff, you did a great job leading the group to Portsmouth yesterday. It was my pleasure to have met and ridden with you this weekend. I echo your sentiment that it would have been difficult to find a better group of guys to ride with for a weekend. I certainly hope to see you again for the second annual gathering next year.

Wish we could have gone too, but we were both pretty whipped by the time we got to my turnoff near Perrysburg, so I know Al was worn out for sure by the time he got home. Will have to put the Serpent Mound on my bucket list.

Scott, you mentioned one morning in the parking lot that there was a restaurant that you stopped for lunch on one of the Windy 9 loops some time ago that you found to be so good that you made a special trip back some time later just to have lunch there again. You may have mentioned the name and I forgot, but could you give it to me again if you did? I would like to add it to my bucket list.

Thanks

Looks like everyone had a good time - I hope my friends at the hotel took good care of ya'll .
Sorry I missed it - sometimes life gets in the way - but hopefully next year I can make it if this becomes some type of annual event.
Keep those pictures coming ;)

All of us wished you could have come as well. Thanks for everything in setting this up.

I DO believe that the consensus is to make this an annual event! I've suggested the weekend BEFORE Labor Day, since most seem to have events right after.

I don't know if I handled it like a pro (you missed a lot ;) ), however, I DID manage to keep the rubber side down.
