Ozark Ride Video

Post by PileDriver » Mon Oct 09, 2017 10:27 pm

My brothers and I just finished a ride through the Ozarks this past week. It was really wonderful - couldn't have asked for anything better. Started and finished at my folks place in Wichita, KS. Cruised to Joplin, Springfield, and Branson. Then took the Pig Trail south and camped outside Ozark, AR. Went south and then across the Ouchita National Forest with lunch in Hot Springs. Then back north up Scenic 7 with another night camping on Mt. Nebo. Finally some cruising through Jasper and Ponca, then across the Peel Ferry then back to Branson. Last day was booking it back to Wichita to celebrate dad's 60th B-day. Take a few minutes to enjoy the video - you won't be disappointed.

My middle brother wrote and performed all the music plus he's driving an absolute cherry 1981 Silverwing (GL500).

Great video (some good music too), thanks. Never heard of Ozark before, you should put up a map too so we can see the trail you did. Jealous of the weather - it is getting decidely cold here in England now.

The Ozark Mountains are in Southern Missouri, Northern Arkansas and just little bit of Oklahoma. We started and finished our motorcycle journey in Wichita, Kansas where my youngest brother lives. I flew into Wichita from Seattle, Washington and my middle brother drove up from San Antonio, Texas.

Here is a real generalized map of the trip - it doesn't show any little side trips.
