This 1974 American Motorcycle Engineering (AMEN) softail frame for sale. I bought the three year old stock 750 in 1973 in Indiana. Chopped it in '75; ridden it most of the years until I bought the wing six years ago. Rode it spring of '16 around the block but it's been off the road for about three years.

Original engine (25 over pistons), front wheel, back hub. Paint and chrome updates six years ago or so. Center ribbed tank with recessed fill cap; battery cut out oil tank (use the cut out for electronics home, battery suspended below that area); self designed and built forward controls; 8 over forks by frank; cut wiring to electric starter cause it's too easy to kick start. Recently rewired to clean it up. 1/2" plate aluminum sissy bar water cut, as were the forward control mounting plates. Seat like new. Custom brass hex nuts on the rear "spring" assembly.

3D molded wings on tank; artist didn't glue the wings to the tank. He glued them to the paint, therefore the paint between the wings and around the gas cap is peeling from the vibration. General condition is very good to excellent with the exception of the tank paint.

The only engine issue I am aware of is the quarter dollar size rubber seals under the cam towers area are leaking a little. Original K carbs with one into four cables. Header pipes are four into two with short dumps. These were powder coated some time ago and have road wear. Still using points.

Make offer. Located in 12474 area of the Catskill Mountains in NYS.
