Trailer for hauling a goldwing

Post by MiWinger51 » Mon Jul 24, 2017 7:29 am

Has anyone had any experience with Klinger trailers of Paw Paw Michigan? They make a number of rampless trailers, both open and enclosed. I emailed them a request for a price list and brochure this morning. Just wondering if anyone has one and how it performs. https://www.klingertrailer.com/
Thanks
Al

Never owned one, but I have examined them from a point of view of heavy bikes and longevity. If I bought one, I think I would have some spare parts, like the rear swivel bolts. They say they can hold up to 3000 pounds, so I would think they would do the job. I do like the way they are built. I did not ask the cost when I was looking, but I bet they are pricey.

I talked to them yesterday. A single 4x9 is about $4000. A double 5x9 is $4300. Sure do like the idea of them being rampless.

I am surprised at the prices. They actually seem reasonable. I do like their trailers. If you do get one, please report back after using it to haul a Goldwing GL1800.
