I have a 24 liter Vetter tank bag that mounts with a harness system.

Getting the harness on can be a bit of an issue the first time, but the amount of space it provides is worth it.

try ChaseHarper.com. They have a lot of luggage.

try www.nelsonrigg.com

Try Dowco, Firstgear, Willy and Max, Kuryakyn, Ogio, Hopnel, Givi, and I am sure there are some others.

You might check prices with a multiretailer like Competition Accessories, www.compacc.com. or the motorcycle superstore, Honda Direct Line, among many others.

Ebay is another source. I don't remember, but I think I got mine for less than $50.

long time since I started tis post, but I finally got a tank bag, just not sure on how to install it, I picked up a kappa LH201 without magnets, it comes with 4 straps, but the straps have no clips at the ends, so as soon as I get the bike out of storage I'll be looking at ways to install it

ok, so it was a relatively easy install, tied the back straps to the triangular engine mount, the tough part is passing the strap around the steering head, might use a long and thick tie-wrap and make a loop onto which I can easily pass the front strap

Be great... I like tank bags or a faux tank bag for my GL1500.
I have an EZ to get into overnight bag in 2 different sizes, tho not as efficient as a tank bag. Problem is the handlebars turn so far, a wide bag won't work. But I get my needed on the road stuff in it. Snacks, glasses, pen, paper, phone, beer... I MEAN SODA!

as promised, here are some pics
I tied a tie-wrap around the triple tree to make it easier to attach the front connection of the bag
