recovered my seat

Postby JellyBelly » Fri May 18, 2012 8:14 am

So I bought this '77 with torn up seat and thought I would do it up (amongst all the other things I need to do to get it on the road). Cost me $5 for the material . $13 for the glue. I had pop-rivets and washers I used to attach. $1 for the thread. I was pretty happy with the job since I hand sewed it all..which I won't do next time to make it a perfect job.

See pics for before and after.

Lol. It's not perfect and I certainly know where to improve next time.

That would have been a nice trade to learn work at home right in the garage.
It don't get much better than that.
