Do you have these Saddle Bags?

Postby JellyBelly » Thu May 24, 2012 7:30 am

Does anyone have these saddlebags on their bike. I have no idea on what brand they are but I have seen them on other GL1000's. I need to see how it attaches properly. I have one support that I know is important (because there is some wobble) but nowhere to attach it to! Needing a good pick of the braces. It feels like I am missing a piece.

Thanks for the pics and info. Does anyone have closeups of how they attach?
I made this video to demonstrate my problem. I am obviously missing the part in the middle as per the pics by D2D above.

Looking at this info here I may have the wrong mounting brackes. http://goldwingchrome.com/Manuals/GL100 ... ctions.pdf

Here is what I have...

They are bates bags. Look up my pics I posted last October of my Harley mufflers. You're missing the center part of the mount

There are also brackets that attach to the rear of the stock GL1000 exhaust pipe. They look like two half circles that bolt together.
