Not getting gas

Postby bigrand150 » Thu Aug 02, 2012 11:43 pm

Had my GL1000 in shop to get the carbs synced, was told they rebuilt the carbs. When I got it back it will not run right, I couldn't trust it to ride anywhere. It will start eventually, it backfires and will not get any speed. Shop will not talk to me, so I started looking into it myself. I found that 2 cyl. are running on the left side. There is spark on all cyl. It doesn't get gas on the right. The exhust on the left is hot and the exhust on right is stone cold. Any ideas? Big Rand

Pull the carbs.I'll bet 39 cents someone put the floats in upside down.
