Tach cable install

Postby William57 » Tue Apr 23, 2013 3:57 pm

So recently bought a 76 GL1000 and I'm installing a new gauge cluster, speedo cable and Tach cable, my question is for anyone is where should the tach cable be threaded though without kinking anywhere. Pictures would be helpful please.

Well shoot, I would have taped the new to the old and pulled it through. Too late for that, so hope someone has done it enough to have a better memory than I. If no one comes through, I will try to take some pics to help you out.

If this doesn't help, PM me, and I'll take some photos of my (original) '76 tach. cable routing.
