gl1000 carb mixture setting

hi i have a 1977 gl1000 when the manual says the air fuel mixture should be two and a half turns out is that two and a half full turns or two and a half half turns can you please help i have just rebuilt motor and all thanks.

I would read that as "two full turns, then one half turn."

are u talking about the screw that is vertical and under each carb

??????? I'm thinking you have a set 1100 carbs there. Nothing of that description on the 1000 carbs. A pic would be good.
