Valve spring keeper

Postby pickett35 » Sat Dec 21, 2013 12:23 pm

Hi all. I was doing a valve clean while replacing head gasket on my 78 gl1000. While removing keepers the spring tool slipped and one keeper went flying. Any suggestions where I can get one without buying a full spring and keeper kit

I have lost one recently, GL 1100. I have ten days to vacate the house as the owner is losing it to the bank. If anyone has an extra set, call me. I will give you the address, send postage, or hitch within a 100 miles. The closet bike shops are 30 miles including two dealers and they are less than helpful or interested. 256 779 6879. Really desperate.
