indicator lugs??

Post by johnakay » Thu Jan 02, 2014 2:21 pm

on some grab rails have indicator mounts with a little lugs on ,
I take it that these are for lining up the indicators.
would it matter if I leave these lugs off.
judging by the picture below it seem they are not needed??

also for those who have grab rails on their GL1000 can you please give me what size spacers are needed.
there are two of them.
your help is much appreciated.

To be correct the tubes on the grab rail have small 'nibs'. The rubber bushes 33606-371-000 (#14) that sit into each tube from both sides have a space that locates on the nibs
The signal mounting bolt 90155-371-000 (#21) has a shank length of 1.25" to the start of the threads.
Here's the fisc.

I have sent you a PM on your Grab rail thread.
'Impossible' is just a level of difficulty! The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask first!

( Seriously, you haven't read all 115 pages of my http://www.wingovations.com website ?? )
