Does anyone know what this thing is? I found it when I pulled my fairing off. Cant figure it out

I believe it is the thing that makes the noise for the turn signal.

I have not seen one of those before, it looks like some kind of buzzer, either for the indicators or perhaps when you put it in reverse (assuming you have a reverse on that bike)?

Just guessing.

It was hanging off the bike itself, just aft of the forks at the bottom of the false tank.

I am now certain that I was correct. It is the turn signal buzzer. You can find it on the schematics on this site or find picture using your favorite search engine.
