Looking at the final drive unit and the flange... at least those 2 parts are NOT interchangeable. I'd also think that the rear wheels are different size, the brakes calipers are very different. It 'might' be possible to swap the complete set up but I'm thinking 'No'.

I am new to Goldwings, but I'm pretty sure the two years in question used different sized rims on both the front and the back. That might make a difference in how the bike handles. In any case, I am sure you will have to check clearance on the frame and fenders. In short, I doubt it is a "plug and play" proposition, but like I said, I am new to the ride.

Not without a lot of machining and work, no. Certainly not just bolt-on replacement, no.
