Steve, but why do you need pistons? That is a very slippery slope for time and cost as these engines on the used market can be had for less than a set of 4 pistons sometimes. The 1975-1979 block fit just fine, it is just that you need to reuse the back cover from your 1976 if you get a 1978 or 1979 and insist on having a kick starter.
