Gl 1000 carb maybe problem

Ok I have 76 gl1000 I thought I might have eletrical issue but it checks out ok . When rideing it olmost seems mike it's running out of gas and my exhaust pipe is turning olmost blue .so I let a buddy of mine ride it and he says it is in my carbs or fuel new fuel pump seems to work ok any other test I can do or ideas before I start messing with carbs don't want to not them out of syn what else can I do help

Pull the plugs, take pics of them and post.

It's running too lean - the exhaust pipe turning blue (from excess heat) is a dead giveaway. It's not healthy to run your bike like this, you'll end up cooking exhaust valves and worse.

Is it happening on all four cylinders? From the plugs in the picture, it looks like two of them are running hotter than the others.

Probably should check the timing as well.

Also check for vacuum leaks.
