Post by terryt » Thu Jan 15, 2015 7:24 am

Hi I have fitted some DW82 TR1 coils to my 78 gl1000. it starts up and runs. on stock points and condenser set up
the question is are these coils ok (they were given to me) and do I need to keep the ballast resister with these coils
thanks

Read those and you can also use 1500 coils. I know the 1200s need to have the voltage changed.
