is there a way to make this work? i like the look of the harley rear light bar, would it work ? and how

Post a pic please. There are multiple light bars. That said, anything is possible.

Both are 12 volt systems, so the first order is to assess if the stator can handle the extra load. Many of us are reducing amperage load using led bulbs to make the GL charging system more robust and allow better electronic ignition performance. So if the added electrical load is okay, then the mechanical connection should be the focus.
