DOES THE 76 GL1000 RUN LEAN WITH 1 1/2 TURNS ON THE AIR ADJUSTMENT
ARE LARGER IDLE JETS A FIX

1 1/2 turns will only cause the bike to idle lean. The proper setting for the 76 is 2 1/2 turns out. If the bike is running lean then some causes could be: Floats set too low, restricted fuel jets, clogged float valve screens, even a clogged gas cap vent or carb slides sticking.

so the idle adjustment actuallyn lets more fuel in ?
i thought it let more air in at 2 1/2 turns[/b]
