Single Carb Kit

Postby oryhara » Thu Jul 01, 2010 6:39 am

Has anyone got any information on this aftermarket carb for the GL1000? I bought one with this on it, and the PO told me it was an aftermarket thing, but i can't find any documentation on it. It is just the one carb, with a manifold connecting it to all 4 cylinders. It works reasonably well, but i'd like some info for servicing it. Obviously, the 'take-it-apart-and-just-look-at-it' approach is available, but i prefer to know as much as possible beforehand.
Thank you

All single carb kits are aftermarket or home built. There are quite a number of them around. Try the NGW site or the Saunders site for any info.

Go to the top of this page and click on manuals.
Scroll down to the GL1000 Service Manuals and click on Cycle Innovations Installation and Troubleshooting Guide (10.5 MB) :ugeek:

should give you everything you need. And is probably for your setup anyway. :D

Amsome, thanks!
I'm not usually searching-impaired, but I just needed to make a post to be entered in the monthly contest, and this was a question I had about my bike. It hasn't caused any problems, but now I've got the docs for it if it does.
