I keep bleeding my brakes, but after a few days the air returns and I have to bleed them again. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it.

You've got a leak somewhere - if you haven't rebuilt the caliper or master cylinder, it might be time to do either or both.

With a bike this old, it may be time to do both the calipers and mc.

Probably could do with new break hoses as well.

How well is the rear working ?

The rear brakes work fine. Now I just need to find a place to get the parts. Any ideas anyone?

GeorgeFix on Ebay sells quality items.

There are other good sellers there as well.

Have you ever repaired GL1000 brakes?

Many good tutorials around.
