I need to hook up with a good Tech who knows these bikes in my area. I live in the NYC area, actually just north in lower Westchester County. Any suggestions?

If you are a member of GWRRA, I would use the Gold Book to contact members in your area. I'm sure one or more of them might know a dealer that works on our bikes, or an independent shop. Reputable independents are out there. I had a buddy back in Michigan that was one of those guys that worked on everything from chain saws to mowers, tractors to semi's, boats, cars & trucks, motorcycles, you name it. He even repaired instrument clusters in newer cars. Scary smart. He was retired from GM and worked out of his garage.

Not sure, but we have many experts here on this site, so searching for members in your area might be helpful. NGW club has experts and they used to keep up a map of users. But I agree too that GWRRA has a great member listing and area organization.
