1978 Honda Gl1000 replacement rear brake master cylinder reservoir

Post by drskvch » Thu Sep 21, 2017 8:07 am

Hey guys,
Does anyone know if a front master cylinder reservoir will work on the rear master cylinder? I've measured both bottom diameters, master cylinder inner diameters and the both appear to be the same. They also appear to use the same size o rings. I found there is a crack and leak in my rear brake reservoir and it seems as if there are no replacements other then used on E Bay. Any thoughts? Or suggestions for a replacement system for the bike?
Thanks everyone

The reservoir is just a storage tank. If it will physically fit, fits with the O-ring without leaking, and holds enough fluid, then it should be fine.
