79 GL 1000

Morning' Friends!

Could anyone tell me where the turn signal buzzer lives on this bike? I see its on the forward tail of the wiring harness but can't seem to figure out where its supposed to affix to the bike? While Im on that topic, does anyone have any suggestions on how to tuck away all the terminal connections of the front end? They're hanging out all willy nilly behind the headlight and although I haven't yet tried I have my doubts if I can hide everything in the headlight bucket.

Thanks!

The headlight bucket has more room than you think. I have all the wires in there and also three additional relays and it buttons up fine. The wires from the handle bars go to a rats nest on the left side frame near the triple tee. They should have a rubber sleeve to contain them.

The buzzer should live between the left side of the headlight bucket, in a rubber housing. I think it attaches to a small bracket on the inside of the headlamp "ear".

Nostalgia is not what it used to be!

that makes sense Ill have look inside. I figured there was some sort of boot for that massive hole in the headlight bucket, but "PartsFiche" doesn't show that boot in the digram. I wonder if there is a universal replacement for that.
