The book says 170 to 180 cc. I guess it depends on how firm you want the forks.

What oil are others running. I have progressive springs in my 1977 and weight about 170 so I picked 5W and it seems to be working well.

The service manual calls for atf.

Service manual was written in 1975 when ATF was the only viable option. Now there are thousands of snake oil vendors willing to sell us a special brew for too much money.

1975 technology has done fine for .... ummm 36 years, I think I will stick with it.
