HD Mufflers

Postby lnash » Wed Oct 26, 2011 1:43 pm

My dad has a 75 wing with 198000 miles on it and we jsut recently put on a set of HD pull offs Mufflers. Before he had a set of Mac's on it for several years. After putting on the HD mufflers he saw an increase in fuel economy from 32-34 to 36-39 and a high of 42 this past weekend on the Natchez Trace in Mississippi. Just thought I would let you guys know this incase you are looking for a set of cheap mufflers.

Not sure about better FE but they sure weigh a lot less. At very affordable cost they are hard to beat. Put Sportster takeoffs oìn mine, how about you?

These were not the sportster ones. They came off a Road King or some other Touring bike.

They also make lot of maintenance easier, as you can drop just one header if you want without that horse shoe back there.
