Don't scrap that bike! There are many GL1000 owners who are looking for parts to keep their bikes running, and I'm sure they'd love to hear from you!

That's what I figured, but I am unable to part the bike out and ship as I'm on SSI Disabilityand need to get rid of the whole machine, if possible. Eddie told me there were 'Wing riders in the area that I thought might be interested in it.
This bike used to run great and I've ridden several times, many years ago. Back then, I even thought about getting one for me and the wife ... then I found out she doesn't like to ride that much.
Since I've taken sick, I'm pretty much limited to messing about with my old 1952 Cushman RoadKing motorscooter and, in all honesty, the Cushman is nearly finished and I won't need a wrecker to set it back upright (actually, it's the wide-bodied 60 series that won't lay all the way over <VBG>). Eddie had the stand sink once on him back in 85 and it took both of us to get it back up. That was probablty because we couldn't get it to rock of the engine guards.
The weather's supposed to be in the high 60's today and I'll try to get a pic or two of the bike. They won't be very good as I have to rely on ambient light from an open garage door and a single drop light.
