GL1100 fuse box

Say a posting on Ebay for a fuse box for an 83 GL1100, picture showed bladed fuses. Mine is a little rusty, so thought it would be nice to change out, nicer fuses too.

I just check bike bandit for the parts, to see what an 83 model has, so I can try to figure out how hard this is going to be to have to hard wire into my 82 as a replacement. The pictures show the same glass tub type fuses as on my 82.

Is there some late model 83 that have a blade type fuse, or is it more likely that the poster labeled a GL1200 fuse box as a GL1100?

Most likely you've nailed it - GL1100's of all vintages use glass fuses, GL1200's use blade fuses.
