Does anyboby have specs on the battery, ie; OE part number, cca rating? Size I can figure out. There seems to be many different ones, but some give no specs except ," it will fit a honda". What the heck does that mean. I would like a little more information than that. You know what I mean. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My 82 1100 manual says only "12V - 20 AH"

The service manual makes no mention of a battery type.

The parts manual says the same thing "12V - 20AH" and the OEM part number is 31500-371-671. Looking that up, it shows that it's been superseded by part number 31500-463-747AH.

Basically, if it fits into the space for the battery correctly, it will run your bike just fine.
