Carb rebuild kit

Postby guitarlos » Sat Jan 16, 2010 7:19 am

Im at a point where I feel that I am ready to rebuild my carbs on my 80 Gl1100. I was wondering what "brands" people are using and whats the difference with all the kits that I see on eBay? They range anywhere from 50 buck to 200, any advise form those who know?

Thanks in advance.....

Supposed t be above 40 here in Indy today, just may have to get her out for a lil spin today ;)

She fired right up and I was able to take her out for about 30-40 minutes today! Score one for a January Ride in Indy!

Honestly, I know it's a bit higher on the price side, but if (i.e. when) I rebuild the carbs on my 1100, I will be using Randakk's carb rebuild kit. It's extremely complete, uses very high quality components, and is universally acclaimed from those who use it.

+1 for Randakk's kit.

Get his video to go with it if you can.
