replacing spark plug wires

Postby johngagen » Sun Mar 25, 2012 10:52 am

I've looked at a bunch of posts and see that I should use 7mm copper cores wires.

Does anyone have a tip for accessing the connection to the coil. I have an 1982 gl1100 interstate and it looks really hard to get to. should I pull the whole airbox out where the air filter is ?

Yup,rip it apart.****one wire at a time****.They unscrew from each end.Cut to length and move to the next one.Not all that difficult, just a bit cramped.
