carb removal problem
I had to remove no. 3 carb on gl1100 to fix accelerator pump leak, when i pulled the carb out I broke the small pipe that goes between no 3 and no1 carbs it is about 1/4 in in diameter. are these available or does anyone have one? also i found accelerator repair parts on one site for 20.00 and every where else is in 70.00 range any idea why?

Re: carb removal problem
The broken pipe is smaller of the two,not the one that feeds gas to no 1 carb. Sorry for misinformation.

I would think if you posted up a WTB in a for sale folder someone might have a spare.

Where did you find the $20 parts? It could be the difference in getting good original Honda parts and cheap Chinese copies.

Re: carb removal problem
I think you are talking about the vacuum advance pipe..sucks air to activate the advance. You could probably JB weld a little smaller tube into what's there and be OK..or try to remove the pipe from the carb and reinstall a new one..any pipe of the right size should do.
I do have a set of individual carbs for an 1100 selling the #3 is $35.

Re: carb removal problem
From what I have researched it is called a joint set. A place called PartsNmore has fuel bowl gasket for 6.00 and accelerator pump for 16.00 and they are in Canada but are listed in U.S. currency. I'm still new to site and will try WTB.
