Picking this bike up in the morning to add to my list of things to do this summer and I'm looking for some suggestions as to what to look for when I get it home and in the shop. I spoke with the PO and he says it isn't seized up, that it will turn over manually.
This is how the bike was listed and I've enclosed a pic .. ideas?
"I had ridden this bike for the past two years up until the fall. Always ran excellent until I had a hard time starting it one day. When I would hit the ignition it would clack and not turn over. I tried a few times to no avail. When I went back out to start it a few days later there was oil all over the ground and the clutch lever was slack.."

If its an 1100 it wasn't clutch fluid on the ground and the clacking could be a few things like a bad battery or a bad starter or fuse . Then ask him if the belts have ever been changed . If not change um as if one breaks its bye bye engine . then look for leaks around the fork seals that's an easy job to fix . Then put your hand under the engine on the left hand side as you sit on it and see if you get any antifreeze on your hand now this is a big job to do also check on the left side by the battery for three yellow wires and see if the connector has melted this is and easy fix as well check to see if the brakes work thats all i can think of .
