Queiston On synchronize my carburetors

Postby whiteeaglepwl » Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:43 am

Hello Again
My 82 aspencade is going crazy. I am Trying to synchronize my carburetor and # 3 Carburetor on the vacum gauge just keeps riseing it goes all the way to 40 on the gauge ulike the rest of them they just go to 8-10 lbs. My quistion is i cant adjust the other carbs with #3 because of the gauge i cant get a reading on it because the gauge just keeps riseing. It acks like it is not exhaleing or releaseing,Can anyone tell me why this is happening none of the other carbs does this just #3.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me Phillip

Swap the hose between two cylinders. If it follows the gauge, you have something in the line or gauge acting like a 1 way valve.

I have Changed the gauges and all of them do the same on #3 carb and i also a cutoff value on the hoses, Just wondering could i have a value sticking? would that make the gauge just keep sucking?
