Help with the pilot screw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone it is me again:
My 82 goldwing, I was working with the pilot screw on #3 carp and and i dont know if i lost the little o ring that goes on top of the spring or it has been gone.But anyway i called the goldwing shop and they said it would take a week to get the hole set in here.I dont need the hole set, Is their anyway i can tempory repair this.

I found a O ring that was so close it worked.It came in a kit from Harbor Freight.I think they have 2 or 3 different ones.I remember it's not in the red case kit tho.The kit was about $10.
Another option is to check with a local NAPA guy who is willing to dig in his stock.
It really helps if you have one to measure too.Take your micrometer with you,and measure your's first.Convert it to mm. for easier book looking.
There really small and go in the bore first,then the washer,then the spring and finally the needle jet.
You have to have it and it needs to be a perfect fit.

Ok thank you so much for the help. If i cant find it local well i quess i will have to wait for 1-2 weeks for the kit to come in, just my luck LOL.
By the way what will it do i i still run it till my parts come in? will it hurt the bike?

Only in the fact that the O ring seals gas from leaking out past the needle valve.it won't be much but any dripping gas is a bad thing.

Try Ace hardware..mine has a big section for o rings including some viton ones...

have not heard from you , itake it that the oring has not arrived.
ok ; 1have someone comming to USA on the 17 june if by the 15TH it has not arrived let me know and i will send you my last spare o ring with the person comming to USA, he will post it express to you.
