I have an oil leak on the rear air shock on my 1982 gl 1100 interstate, can i change the shocks to the standard shocks instead of the air shocks as this is a trike conversion & how would i bypass the air hoses or can i get a blanking plug for the hoses.
Thanks in advance. :?:

Yes you can and if you remove the air shocks the whole system comes out so nothing to plug.

I had the original air shock on mine but they always leaked out air slowly, very slowly, once I took a long trip and you know I'm 15 hrs from home and I didn't have a hand pump and the gas station air didn't work so good, so once I got back home I ordered the 412 progressives, non air shocks, I couldn't be happier, one less thing to have to check when on a trip..I just didn't feel like fixing them call me lazy, I'm a happy lazy guy... :D
