accelerator pump check valves???

are the little balls on the accelerator pump body supposed to move? ive boiled pb blasted, all the passages are clear, just dont understand if these check valves are supposed to roll around in body , got book and master rebuiled kit from randakks not real clear in book or im just not understanding, have carbs all put back together with new kit this problem is holding me back, they will not move at all, please help.

Theres a member who posted an accelerator pump article in the 1500 section, maybe there something you can find out there.

I'll dig into it,but on my 1500 the check valves use a spring loaded ball in a seat.

Sorry,I can neither verify or deny the existence of a spring loaded ball for the check valve in the 1100 carb.

I have checked close in the service manual pg.4-10 is a picture , but I don't see any check balls and they are not talked about.
Do you have the service manual?

I just checked the local dealers parts fiche and the diagram shows only the lower housing, spring, diaphram/shaft and a gasket. What year bike are we talking about?
