I did get the bike to turn over and run barley for very short time. im thinking i may have coil or fuel issue. i have a ohm meter, how can i check coils to see if there good? how do i check selenoid to see if it good? how do i check fuel to see its good? i disconnected the output side of fuel pump turned motor over got sperts of fuel. didnt seem like much pressure to me. thanks

Have you downloaded the Honda service manual? A lot of the answers to the questions you've asked are in there.

When bringing my 77 back to life. I pulled the carbs and checked the bowl and sprayed them out with carb cleaner really good. blew through all the openings. It ran ok. put 3 cans of sea foam through them. Need to be sync'd though. I am going to set up single carb conversion on it in next couple weeks. I have heard someone say to spray electrical cleaner into the side of the starter/kill switch on the handle bars to make sure the connections are good. I also had to replace with new Solenoid because it stuck and melted the spinning metal bar into the plastic. I had a spare and took both of them apart and made a good one. it was working so ordered a new one for $40 from local bike shop. that fixed the clicking for me.
