The Passenger Foot Pegs on my 1983 Honda Goldwing Standard

Postby Dakotaman » Mon Jul 02, 2012 4:27 pm

My wife gets cramped knees, and we have to stop often for her to get off and stretch a bit. They are the original foot pegs. Are there other foot pegs available to allow her feet to move up a bit without it bothering my feet on my foot pegs. If someone knows of a fix for this, or a different type of foot board peg, that would allow her feet to be moved up and maybe down a bit also, could you post a link of where I can get it? Thanks in advance!!

That would be great for me, but I need the rear foot pegs moved forward to lessen the bend in my wife's legs and knees.

I have bars around my bags that this could mount to for the passenger.

My wife will just dangle her legs straight down to give her knees a break. Well, she did, until she got her own bike, and now I never have a passenger anymore!

She has a hard time straightening her legs, cause her knees get tight and cramped. It takes her about a minute, or so before she can move them to get off the bike. She really likes riding with me, except for this problem. I'll just keep trying to find a fix for it, if I can.

Could you fabricate some kind of bracket to place the pegs/floorboards where shw needs them?
