cylinder walls sleeve replacement?

Postby godsninja4life » Tue Jul 31, 2012 5:09 pm

i have an 83 GL1100 interstate i just bought and it needs some work. The front left cylinder is messed up beyond honing out and they seem to have been sleeved and were wondering if anybody has resleeved one before. we bought another motor and took a gamble on it but it isnt any better so were planing on taking one good sleeve out and swapping it with the bad one. Can this be done?

These motors are sleeved. Boring oversized pistons and rings works great if you can
find them.
