I have a 82 GL1100I and I'm runing 35 Lbs tire presure front & rear theclymer manual say 28lbs front & 40lbs rear I am about 220 lbs wha is a good presure so it ride better.

It depends somewhat on the tires, but I usually ran 35 in front and 38-40 in rear, depending on the load. I find the Avon Venom tires I had like a bit more pressure in order to perform best.

38 psi front and 40-42 in the rear, better tire mileage this way.

I ran Avon Venoms on my 82 Aspy and aired them up to 41front 44rear. great handling and good mileage too
