refill airshocks!

Hi I hope you can help, can you tell me how to refill my rear air shocks with transmission fluid please.1981 goldwing 1100 interstate. :oops: :? :o

Have you drained them first? i.e. are they empty, or are you looking to "top up" - which, in my opinion, is a bad idea, because you don't know just how much is in there.

Have you downloaded the 1100 service manual from the Manuals page? It covers this, and a lot more other procedures as well.

Hi thank you for your response,my rear shocks have no fluid in them,I was told they hold 12 oz.of trans fluid.I can not view your manuals links I have a 12 year old dial-up computer.thanks Larry.
