I think I going to need a new clutch on my 82 gl1100 is it a hard job

do you have a honds shop manual?
It it step by step.

I thought mine was going out. Stranded me on the way to work. I described what it was doing on here and these guys dianosed it to a T. Turns out it was the clutch slave cylinder. Rebuilt the clutch slave cylinder and the clutch master cylinder while I was at it. Now it's perfect again. I don't know if yours is hydrualic like mine or cable. That would make a difference.

GL1100's are cable your avitar is 1987 GL12oo , hydraulic
