slight sputtering

During acceleration and at certain cruising speeds there is a slight sputtering between 3500 and 4000 rpm. What could cause this?

Could be a air leak coming into the intake manifolds at one of the bases or connections check the tubes and make sure they are all tight, sometimes air gets in if there is a cut in a o'ring or something like that, could also be a spark wire not making full contact, you might have bad fuel, maybe some water got in from the station, put some seafoam in, just a couple of ounce's per tank.. Also check your air filter..I don't know maybe it's something else... :shock: :shock:
