On my 1200 LTD I use my normal Garmin 2350 in a Ram clutch mount. I ran a 12v accessory plug off my battery tender connection into the left hand pocket. Then I have a 3-way splitter (GPS, iPhone, and TPMS) and ran the original GPS cable to the bps with enough play so that it doesn't interfere with handlebar turning.

this is where I mounted my TomTom, it stays dry up there and is easy to see. 8-)
Ride safe, Todd
Over night campers welcome
